I don't disagree with any of those, but I think what the show really needs to do is be shorter (trim the fat) and ... gasp ... ditch the "live" aspect. The funniest stuff -- fake ads, digital shorts, the "Twilight" spoof -- are usually taped anyways, and every Thursday "30 Rock" shows us how awesomely funny "SNL" veterans can be without the shackles of a live audience.
