Nick and Norah get postered

i just saw this on The Playlist and was all "schwing!"
can't wait for this movie and anyone who compares it to Juno is out of their hollow little mind.
( i mentioned my love for the book before, in fact i said it exactly 2 months ago today)

my new favorite book

i will admit that i bought and read this only after hearing that it was going to be made into a movie. and then i heard that michael cera was going to be "nick" and kat dennings is going to be "norah" and that was the icing.
it's a quick and short read, and i loved every word. there are music & tv references galore which are always fun but the one that bashed me over the head (in a good way) was the Heathers reference. i just realized that no one is going to give a shit about this but me.here's a description from the books' site:
It all starts when Nick asks Norah to be his girlfriend for five minutes. He only needs five minutes to avoid his ex-girlfriend, who’s just walked in to his band’s show. With a new guy. And then, with one kiss, Nick and Norah are off on an adventure set against the backdrop of New York City—and smack in the middle of all the joy, anxiety, confusion, and excitement of a first date.
holy shit!
that sounds like a cheese-filled teeny bopper wannabe soap opera.
maybe it is, but i don't care.
one super-fun thing about the book (spoiler alert sorta) is that each chapter is told from the POV of Nick and Norah.
it goes:
chapter 1. nick
chapter 2. norah
.....etcetera....
so that was kind of cool.
watch out for my boner when the trailer for this appears online, which should be soon.
buy the book here, if you want.
