happy birthdays!

first to my friend Catherine, an amazing photographer....

and second to Donald O'Connor.
i obviously never knew him personally, but he was born on this day in 1925 and he has made me laugh more times than i can count...and that's just from watching Singin' in the Rain.
RIP Donald.
